Sales & Account Manager – IT Security, SaaS

Job Description

As a Sales & Account Manager, you will focus on selling a Physical Identity & Access Management (PIAM) platform offered as a SaaS solution. This platform is strategically positioned at the intersection of IT and physical security. Your role involves collaborating with both large and medium-sized enterprises to understand their challenges in detail. You will build strong customer relationships, positioning our solution as a scalable, long-term asset. Your responsibilities will span the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract closure, with support from presales, delivery, and product specialists. Responsibilities include new customer acquisition and business development, managing RFPs and complex deals, strategic account development, analyzing IT security, identity, and compliance requirements, and close coordination with presales, delivery, and product management teams.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in software or solution sales, preferably in IT security or SaaS. 2. Strong solution-selling mentality with the ability to understand complex customer requirements and position the right platform. 3. Experience engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders (CIO, CISO, IT architects, security officers). 4. Confident presence and strong negotiation skills, including at C-level and in complex procurement processes. 5. Native or business-fluent German and good English skills. 6. IT background and genuine interest in technology, identity management, and cybersecurity. 7. Advantageous: proven track record in PIAM, physical security, or Identity & Access Management sales.
