Retail Area Manager

Job Description

Lead a team of store managers across Crocs and Hey Dude locations, overseeing approximately 6 to 8 stores with a total sales volume of $20-$30M. Ensure excellent customer service and maintain visual standards across all locations. Drive operational compliance, uphold company policies, and meet financial targets. Develop talent, manage staffing, and maintain high leadership standards. Deliver operational excellence in store appearance, loss prevention, and safety. This role requires strong ethics, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

1. High School diploma required. 2. Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4 years of retail management experience in lieu of degree. 3. Previous experience in specialty retail, multi-unit management is preferred. 4. Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Internet Microsoft Office, POS and general digital literacy. 5. Flexible work schedule (which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance is necessary. 6. Travel is required for this role both by car & air. 7. Proven track record of being able to work autonomously, while having strong attention to detail. 8. Strong interpersonal, communication and motivational skills. 9. Strong organizational and time management skills. 10. Excellent business and financial competence, including operational analysis. 11. Proven ability to exceed sales while meeting payroll goals, demonstrated ability to identify, hire, train, develop and retain top talent Managers as well as teams. 12. Ability to reason through complex issues, demonstrates effective communication, ability to present information to large groups. 13. Ability to move merchandise with appropriate equipment to and from backroom and sales floor. In addition to standing for extended periods per shift and to continuously move around all areas of the store daily
