Seeking a talented Residential Architectural Designer to create detailed drawings and design sets for residential projects. Utilize CAD software to transform site notes, client briefs, and design examples into comprehensive proposals for extensions, refurbishments, and alterations. Manage projects from initial design to completion, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop architectural drawings using CAD software. 2. Create design proposals for residential projects. 3. Support projects from design to completion. 4. Apply knowledge of London planning requirements. 5. Communicate with clients to clarify design details. 6. Take ownership of project delivery. 7. Adhere to company drawing standards. 8. Coordinate with internal and external teams. 9. Ensure drawing accuracy and timely delivery. 10. Efficiently close out projects independently. 11. Keep business owner updated on project progress.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have: 1. Proven experience in residential architectural design, preferably in the UK. 2. A strong understanding of London residential planning processes. 3. Experience with South West London councils (Wandsworth, Merton, Hammersmith & Fulham) is advantageous. 4. Proficiency in CAD or similar drawing software. 5. The ability to interpret measured surveys. 6. Experience preparing drawing packages for planning applications. 7. A keen eye for detail and drawing presentation. 8. The ability to follow established drawing styles. 9. Professional communication skills. 10. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently. 11. Strong written and verbal English skills. 12. Reliable laptop, internet, and work environment.
