Resident Service Engineer
Job Description
As a Resident Service Engineer, you will be responsible for: - Scheduling tasks at customer job sites. - Troubleshooting issues efficiently using technical drawings and documentation. - Collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, Software, and Quality Engineering teams. - Performing routine maintenance and emergency services. - Analyzing customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify machine performance issues and implementing solutions. - Continuous learning, including understanding customer operational processes, packaging designs, and technical specifications. - Installing Packsize solutions and providing training to others. - Handling basic clerical and administrative duties, such as responding to emails, preparing expense reports, and writing technical reports. - Communicating information and ideas effectively with Packsize and customer personnel. - Adhering to Packsize and customer safety requirements and protocols. - Demonstrating an excellent work ethic and time management skills. - Performing machine operations, including clearing jams, loading materials, changing labels, and adding glue.
Qualifications
1. Customer service focus. 2. Knowledge of Windows platforms. 3. Proficiency in using hand tools. 4. Understanding of mechanical platforms. 5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 6. Basic experience with Microsoft (Excel, Word) or Google Suite (Sheets, Docs) is helpful. 7. Associates Degree, Vocational Training or equivalent experience. 8. Bachelor's Degree in a related area preferred
