Research Administrator, Pre-Award III
Job Description
We are seeking a Research Administrator to support a team of Pre-Award Specialists. This role involves: - Supporting the day-to-day activities of the Pre-Award team. - Monitoring workload distribution and communicating concerns to the RAS Director. - Providing guidance to team members. - Coordinating with the RAS Director on pre-award activities, issue resolution, and workload. - Collaborating with the Post-Award team lead to coordinate inter-team meetings. - Managing pre-award activities for an assigned portfolio of grants and contracts. - Ensuring effective workflow and adherence to quality standards. - Performing pre-award activities within a RAS unit. - Assisting faculty/PI in the development, preparation, and submission of grant and contract proposals. - Reviewing proposal elements for consistency, accuracy, and completeness. - Monitoring proposal status and advising the PI on requirements and deadlines. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have: 1. A Bachelor's degree. 2. Five years of relevant grants and contracts experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 3. Knowledge of federal regulations related to research grant and/or contract activity. 4. Proficiency with MS Office Suite. We value detail-oriented individuals with excellent organizational skills.
