Research Administrator, Pre-Award II

Job Description

The Research Administrator will be responsible for: - Managing pre-award activities for an assigned portfolio of grants and contracts. - Assisting departmental faculty/Principal Investigators (PIs) in developing, preparing, and submitting grant and contract proposals. - Ensuring all applications meet agency and university guidelines. - Conferring with PI and pre-award support staff to secure necessary sub-award documents. - Assisting the PI in developing budgets and budget justification. - Advising the PI on administrative requirements and budget adjustments for proposals.

Qualifications

The requirements are: 1. Bachelor's degree. 2. Three years of work-related grants and contracts experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. 3. Proficiency with MS Office Suite software.
