Release Train Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Release Train Engineer to manage and enhance the value flow across multiple value streams. This role involves assessing and optimizing practices within teams, including DevOps, Product Owners, Security, and Architecture. As a Release Train Engineer, you will foster collaboration internally and externally, facilitating alignment of strategic objectives. You will also coordinate and execute release planning, prioritize features, and drive agility by managing risks and dependencies. You will assist in removing impediments and promote Lean-Agile principles, ensuring consistent value delivery. This role requires proactive communication with stakeholders to address risks and issues related to the value stream.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is essential. 2. A minimum of six (6) years of process improvement or project management experience, with at least 4+ years as a Release Train Engineer, Program Manager, or Delivery Lead, is required. 3. A minimum of three (3) years of significant experience working in an Enterprise IT organization with multiple Agile Delivery Frameworks/Tools (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, Lean, SAFe, AzureDevOps, ServiceNow Planview, or other similar ALM tools) is required. 4. Three (3) years of proven experience in leading agile transformations by coaching and transitioning teams, programs, and portfolios at all organizational levels, including senior leadership, is necessary. 5. Scaled Agile Framework Certification (SAFe) is required. 6. Hold at least one SAFe/Scrum certification such as SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), SAFe Program Consultant, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
