Job Description
AHF Products is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee wood product sales in defined territories. The role involves managing a sales budget for solid and engineered wood, with a focus on specialty wood flooring wholesalers and contractors. Responsibilities include forecasting, driving profitable growth, aligning with product and marketing teams, and developing strategic sales plans. The manager will cultivate relationships with key clients, deliver sales presentations, and monitor market competition, ensuring sales goals are met within budget. Key responsibilities: * Own sales budget for AHF wood in defined geographies. * Assist with forecasting and securing incremental sales. * Drive profitable growth through wholesalers & contractors. * Align with product, marketing, and sales management. * Travel to cultivate relationships and support the team. * Develop and implement strategic sales plans. * Work closely with manager and retail strategic account teams. * Develop product collections and pricing strategies. * Meet with key clients and deliver sales presentations. * Monitor competition and manage expenses within budget.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or 10+ years of relevant experience. 2. Ability to travel 70% of the time. 3. Minimum four years of sales experience in the floor covering industry, hardwood preferred. 4. Effective presentation skills for key decision-makers. 5. Ability to think on their feet. 6. Proven track record of building sales relationships. 7. Ability to meet reporting and documentation requirements. 8. Strong communication and coordination skills. 9. Ability to work independently and set priorities. 10. Project management skills. 11. Valid driver's license with a clean record. 12. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 13. Superior customer service skills.
