South Korea – Remote Full-Time

Job Description

Join MariaDB as a Regional Sales Manager and drive enterprise sales growth in South Korea. This role involves meeting or exceeding a $1 million+ annual sales quota by identifying, nurturing, and securing new enterprise sales opportunities. Manage customer and partner relationships, navigate complex sales processes using customer-centric strategies and MEDDPICC, and collaborate with business development, presales, marketing, and sales teams. Maintain a robust sales pipeline in Salesforce.com and develop account plans to retain and grow existing client revenue and renewals.

Qualifications

1. 3+ years of consultative sales experience. 2. Database/data management sales experience is strongly preferred. 3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding $1 million USD per annum sales quotas. 4. Sales hunter focused on new and expansion business with persistence and self-discipline. 5. Proven ability to manage large enterprise opportunities and close transactional/renewal business. 6. Effective sales acumen to manage complex sales cycles. 7. Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously. 8. Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills at all levels. 9. Proven history of selling complex solutions at a senior level. 10. Willing and able to undertake business travel within South Korea, with up to 20% travel expected in APAC. 11. Experience working effectively in a remote-first, fast-paced environment. 12. Fluency in Korean and English (verbal and written).
