Regional Sales Manager

Job Description

Drive regional sales growth by effectively managing sales representatives and implementing strategic sales initiatives. Sell MAPEI products via distribution channels and directly to qualified contractors. Formulate sales forecasts, establish targets, and oversee comprehensive market analyses to refine pricing strategies. Define sales territories, set quotas, and boost channel development efforts. Present persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to key clients and potential customers. Discover and cultivate new distribution avenues and client prospects to deepen market penetration. Nurture client relationships, facilitate negotiations, and successfully close deals. Evaluate market demands, monitor competitors, and provide informed product recommendations. Generate detailed sales reports and monitor critical performance metrics. Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team. Represent MAPEI at industry trade shows and meetings. Control regional expenditures to ensure they align with budgetary guidelines. Uphold a safe working environment by strictly adhering to safety and quality protocols. Fulfill any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Possess external sales experience with a proven track record in relevant industry products. 2. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the assigned market industry. 3. Hold a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel within the designated territory. 4. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but a high school diploma or GED is required. 5. Ability to stand for extended periods and work independently. 6. Proficient in using Windows-based PCs, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet navigation.
