Regional Sales Consultant
Job Description
Join Signode as a Regional Sales Consultant and drive growth within assigned accounts in your designated geographic area. Serve as the primary customer contact, promoting Signode's advanced packaging systems across various industries. Manage existing accounts comprehensively and exceed sales targets through the strategic application of Signode's products and services. Focus on renewal and expansion sales through cross-selling and up-selling techniques. Develop and implement robust account plans for key customers. Facilitate national account sales at the local level. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and manage complaints to ensure utmost customer satisfaction. Maintain current sales opportunities and customer records in line with company guidelines. Share industry insights with peers, including product management, product development, and equipment sales teams. Collaborate with internal teams on account management, projects, and departmental initiatives. Develop an effective Time and Territory Management Plan to maximize sales effectiveness. Engage in continuous Training & Development opportunities to stay ahead in the field.
Qualifications
1. Associate’s degree in STEM, Business, Sales or a related field; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of consultative sales experience; industrial sales experience is essential. 3. Must reside in Mississippi or Louisiana; capable of overnight travel up to 50%. 4. Familiarity with Signode’s products and their applications is a plus. 5. Proficient in using a CRM and interpreting dashboards on Power BI, with general proficiency in MS Office. 6. Excellent interpersonal skills to cultivate engagement with current customers and potential prospects.
