Job Description

Assume a pivotal role as Regional Medical Director, contributing to clinical operations tailored for Medicaid populations. This involves leading weekly multidisciplinary rounds with Midwest and West Coast care teams to refine patient goals and tackle complex medical scenarios. You will apply your clinical expertise to prioritize and guide AI-flagged cases, conduct educational sessions, and provide supervision to therapists and pharmacists. Additionally, you'll engage with regional operations leads, represent Waymark at key meetings, and stay current with clinical best practices.

Qualifications

1. Hold a Medical degree (MD/DO) with an active U.S. medical license, open to obtaining additional state licenses. 2. Possess 3-5+ years of primary care experience, ideally in safety-net, FQHC, or urgent triage settings. 3. Maintain board certification in family medicine, internal medicine, or emergency medicine. 4. Demonstrate experience in supervising multidisciplinary teams. 5. Exhibit competency in behavioral health and substance use treatment. 6. Show genuine interest in health technology and agile environments.
