Regional Account Director – East
Job Description
As the Genmab lead, this role manages corporate relationships and access strategies for strategic community practices. An access expert, this position supports the development and execution of strategies to ensure optimal access for Genmab medicines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead corporate relationships and access initiatives for assigned strategic community practices. 2. Collaborate with NAD-GPOs to develop GPO segment strategy and overall community oncology access strategy. 3. Support the launch planning process for Genmab medicines. 4. Develop and execute access-focused account plans aligned with corporate access goals and brand strategy. 5. Lead cross-functional access planning, engaging key personnel in formulary/pathway decision-making. 6. Present value propositions and pipeline materials to population health experts. 7. Engage Medical Affairs resources to support product access for appropriate patients. 8. Develop mutually beneficial relationships with senior executives at assigned accounts. 9. Share insights on access market dynamics with Strategic Pricing and Contracting. 10. Provide expert consultation to the Sales Force, Medical Affairs, and Marketing teams. 11. Collaborate in a matrix organization with internal Genmab colleagues and external strategic partners.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree is essential; an advanced degree is advantageous. 2. Minimum of 10 years of proven success in biotech/pharmaceuticals or related healthcare. 3. Experience in oncology account management is essential; market access experience is a plus. 4. Significant knowledge of the oncology GPO and community oncology segment. 5. Deep understanding of community oncology operations and reimbursement models. 6. Oncology market access launch experience is a plus. 7. Experience engaging community oncology practice leadership. 8. Ability to manage complex accounts and stakeholders. 9. Ability to build strong partnerships with customers and colleagues. 10. High sense of urgency and ability to achieve results through others. 11. A high sense of ownership and autonomy in decision-making. 12. Ability to build, lead, or participate effectively in a matrix. 13. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 14. Willingness to travel up to 80 percent, including some weekend availability.
