Refrigeration / HVAC Project Manager

Job Description

We're looking for a Refrigeration/HVAC Project Manager to oversee all phases of remodels, store refurbishments, and facility maintenance projects. This role involves developing and maintaining project plans, collaborating with various departments, and serving as a liaison between the company and external partners. You'll prepare estimates, manage project budgets (ranging from $5,000 to $1m+), and monitor costs against forecasts. Identifying value engineering opportunities, tracking vendor performance, ensuring quality control, and managing permit approvals are also key responsibilities. Additionally, you will lead workstream coordination for new store builds, manage critical path schedules, identify risks, and provide regular project status reports.

Qualifications

1. Five years of retail management and/or five years related project management experience. 2. Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects in diverse geographies. 3. Must be PC proficient. 4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, permitting processes, retail operations, and ADA/code compliance. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, AutoCAD, or equivalent construction/project management tools. 6. Must be available for overnight work and travel to new store sites (50% travel). 7. Project Management Certification or similar certifications are desirable.
