Recruitment Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a Recruitment Specialist to perform searches for qualified candidates using multiple sources, including databases, networking, online job boards, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, and employee referrals. Represent Ad Astra at various events and act as the company’s ambassador to prospective clients and candidates. Respond to client requests or inquiries for recruitment services in a professional and timely manner. Participate in daily and weekly team meetings, leadership sessions, and company improvement initiatives. Support continuous improvement efforts within the HR and Recruitment teams. Complete other assigned tasks and duties related to the recruitment function.
Qualifications
1. Associate Degree (required) 2. Minimum 2 years of recruitment or related experience 3. Excellent active listening and attention to detail 4. Highly organized with strong follow-through 5. Clear and concise communication skills (both written and verbal) 6. Strong coordination and public speaking abilities 7. High level of social perceptiveness and empathy 8. Skilled in negotiation, judgment, and decision-making 9. Ability to handle complex problem-solving situations effectively 10. Proficiency in English reading and writing 11. Strong understanding of administration and management principles 12. Familiarity with standard sourcing techniques and candidate qualification processes 13. Awareness of recruitment trends and best practices 14. Knowledge of customer and personal service 15. Understanding of personnel and human resources management (preferred) 16. Experience with high-volume recruitment and long-term project oversight (preferred) 17. Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing databases (preferred) 18. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other productivity tools (preferred) 19. Skilled in social media recruiting and outreach (preferred)
