React Native Engineer, Banking

Job Description

Seeking a skilled React Native Engineer to contribute to the development of our mobile banking platform. You'll be instrumental in shipping high-quality features for both iOS and Android, focusing on core banking functions like account management, transfers, and card interactions. You'll collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to translate specifications into efficient, reliable mobile interfaces. Your responsibilities will extend from initial concept to final release, ensuring clear ownership throughout. We expect you to champion testing and CI/CD methodologies to maintain quality and accelerate delivery. This includes implementing automated unit and integration tests and driving improvements in our release processes. A key aspect of the role involves enhancing mobile performance, accessibility, and resilience. This includes analytics and monitoring to guarantee seamless experiences at scale. You will contribute to our mobile platform by adopting consistent design system components, navigation paradigms, and developer tools, fostering consistency and development speed.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying iOS and Android applications using React Native. 2. Experience in building secure, user-centric financial or payments experiences, with emphasis on money movement, error handling, and compliance-friendly UX. 3. Expertise in TypeScript and React, including proficiency in state management, networking, and native integrations; familiarity with GraphQL and React Navigation is beneficial. 4. Proven collaboration, documentation, and ownership skills in fast-paced, cross-functional teams. 5. Self-driven and proactive mindset.
