Collaborate with product managers and engineering leaders to define, develop, test, and deploy outstanding customer experiences. Embrace engineering excellence through Agile, DevOps, coding standards, design patterns, and test automation. Aid QA in ensuring release stability via automated and manual tests. Design and implement adaptable, high-performance React Native solutions for TV platforms like tvOS, Android TV, and Fire TV, optimizing performance, usability, and maintainability. Prototype solutions, debug defects, document analyses, and enhance team processes and development culture. Deliver high-quality results consistently.

Qualifications

1. Requires 3+ years of experience in CTV, Smart TV, or OTT app development. 2. Must have current experience developing for SmartTV, tvOS, Android TV, or OTT platforms with React Native. 3. Expertise is needed in React principles (virtual DOM, component lifecycle, state, hooks, and props). 4. Should be proficient in TypeScript. 5. Should be skilled in React Native tools like Visual Studio Code, Jest, and ESLint. 6. Must have a firm understanding of HTML, CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, XML, and JSON. 7. Proficiency in state management (Zustand, Redux, React Context) is a must. 8. Must be comfortable with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Charles Proxy. 9. Experience with AI tools like Cursor is preferred. 10. Knowledge of Amazon Kepler/VegaOS is an advantage. 11. Experience with video streaming technologies (HLS, DASH) is beneficial. 12. Experience in monorepo codebases (Nx, Turborepo) is preferred. 13. Experience with internationalization/localization (i18n) is a plus.
