Job Description
As a Quality IT Systems Administrator, you will manage and maintain assigned Quality IT Systems, ensuring they operate with optimal availability, performance, and compliance, adhering to established processes. Your duties include: 1. Managing users and roles, performing system maintenance, and providing support for system configuration and validation. 2. Coordinating with the Quality IT System Owner to support release and upgrade activities. 3. Monitoring system operations and resolving incidents according to IT Service Management protocols. 4. Collaborating with Business Owners and Administrators to align business processes with the Quality IT System Owner's directives. 5. Converting approved business and system owner needs into effective system configurations and operational setups. 6. Delivering specialized system support for users in Quality and Regulatory Affairs. 7. Ensuring Quality IT Systems adhere to GxP regulations and internal standards. 8. Contributing to validation and change documentation, such as risk assessments and testing support. 9. Maintaining system readiness for inspections and compliance with relevant regulations, including data integrity, GxP, and GDPR. 10. Assisting with audits and inspections alongside the Quality IT System Owner and key Quality stakeholders. 11. Handling incidents, service requests, and changes for Quality IT Systems efficiently. 12. Supporting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for system-related issues. 13. Ensuring thorough documentation and traceability of all changes and system activities. 14. Identifying opportunities to improve operations and optimize system performance. 15. Implementing best practices in Quality IT Systems administration. 16. Staying informed about the latest system capabilities to drive system evolution and improve usability.
Qualifications
1. A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field is required. 2. Experience in administering IT systems within a regulated (GxP) environment is essential. 3. Familiarity with Quality IT Systems and platforms such as Veeva Vault, Kneat, and Gx DocuSign is highly preferred. 4. A solid understanding of CSV/CSA, GxP compliance, and data integrity principles is necessary. 5. Experience with IT Service Management processes (e.g., ITIL) is required. 6. Must demonstrate a structured, quality-focused, and reliable work ethic. 7. Possess strong communication and collaboration skills. 8. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is advantageous.
