Quality Engineer – Training and Transformation Services
Job Description
As a Quality Engineer, you'll be instrumental in maintaining compliance with contractual and regulatory standards within our Training and Transformation Services (TTS) department. Your responsibilities include: 1. Coordinating assurance activities across the program. 2. Identifying and managing quality issues, both internally and externally, including addressing customer-related concerns. 3. Supporting the TTS Quality Lead and Services Quality Manager in achieving defined Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). 4. Reviewing and managing changes to requirements in collaboration with key stakeholders. 5. Actively promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement, while also representing CORE values within TTS. 6. Ensuring continuous compliance with relevant standards, Raytheon's business practices, and contractual commitments. 7. Championing risk-based thinking and effective change management strategies. 8. Contributing to continuous improvement efforts. 9. Analyzing and reviewing business metrics to recommend enhancements to the Business Management System. 10. Maintaining compliance mapping tools and QMS management software.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need: 1. Certification as a QMS Lead Auditor (AS9100/ISO9001). 2. Extensive knowledge of the United Kingdom’s armed forces environment. 3. A solid understanding of root cause and corrective action techniques. 4. The ability to travel extensively to customer and Raytheon UK sites. 5. Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams. 6. A proactive willingness to learn and develop. 7. Working knowledge of JSP 822 Defence Systems Approach to Training. 8. Familiarity with ISO 44001 Collaborative Business Relationship Management Systems. 9. Knowledge of asset and equipment management principles. 10. Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Flows, SharePoint, and Power Apps. 11. Experience with Ideagen’s quality management tool.
