Quality Assurance Software Engineering Manager

Job Description

- Champion a shift-left QA culture across European teams to integrate quality checks earlier in the development process. - Develop and manage a high-performing engineering team by focusing on hiring talented individuals, providing effective onboarding, and offering ongoing mentorship for continuous improvement. - Strategically develop Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to transparently monitor and improve the QA team's influence. - Take responsibility for the quality plan of SketchUp’s AI-driven platform, coordinating release activities and test schedules to improve design collaboration. - Encourage operational excellence by discovering and implementing innovative process improvements or automation solutions that encourage the team to excel.

Qualifications

1. Possess a technical degree, or a non-technical degree accompanied by at least 2 years of experience in a technical software environment. 2. Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in both manual and automated testing. 3. Have spent at least 2 years in a dedicated team leadership role. 4. Exhibit strong collaborative abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies. 5. Have a demonstrated history of effectively managing performance and enhancing team productivity. 6. Demonstrate practical experience with the implementation and testing of AI technologies. 7. Show proficiency with 3D/2D modeling and visualization software, or have practical experience in the fields of Architecture or Civil Engineering. 8. Have prior experience in managing direct reports within a multi-team setting.
