Job Description

Become a Quality and Patient Safety Data Analyst, applying statistical and mathematical techniques to drive actionable insights and improve healthcare delivery. You'll collaborate with quality improvement teams, define metrics, and develop data-driven solutions for clinical and operational initiatives. Analyze extensive datasets to pinpoint trends, patterns, and opportunities for enhancing patient outcomes, reducing costs, and improving service quality. You will also assist in strategic intelligence development through report writing, dashboard creation, and front-end scripting, utilizing tools like PowerBI, SQL, and Excel. Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports to track critical performance indicators related to quality enhancement goals. You'll transform complex data into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders via visualizations, presentations, and written reports. Apply statistical methods and modeling to support evidence-based decision-making. You will also integrate diverse data sources into a unified, manipulable data source. Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to gather, validate, and integrate data for thorough analysis. You will also stay informed on healthcare regulations, quality measurement standards (such as HEDIS, NCQA, CMS), and leading industry practices. You'll mentor and guide other departments on available data tools and perform related tasks as required.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data Science, Business Analytics, Epidemiology, Public Health or a related discipline. 2. An advanced degree in Business, Science, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health or related field is a plus and may substitute for some experience. 3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, analytics, or functional business experience within the healthcare industry 4. Demonstrated experience supporting healthcare quality improvement efforts is highly desirable.
