QA Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a skilled QA Engineer to ensure top-notch quality in our fintech product. Responsibilities include: 1. Taking full ownership of QA processes. 2. Developing and maintaining automated test suites using Cypress/Playwright. 3. Designing and executing comprehensive test strategies. 4. Collaborating with engineers on code reviews and unit/integration test coverage. 5. Performing manual and exploratory testing. 6. Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs. 7. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. 8. Participating in agile ceremonies and sprint planning. 9. Partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance test effectiveness. 10. Maintaining regression suites and monitoring CI pipelines.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess: 1. 3+ years of experience in web application QA (manual + automation). 2. Deep understanding of different testing methodologies. 3. Background in API testing. 4. Hands-on expertise with Cypress and Playwright. 5. Strong familiarity with Ruby on Rails codebases. 6. Experience in test case design and strategy. 7. Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows. 8. Familiarity with version control and test management tools. 9. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. 10. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
