QA Engineer

Job Description

Become a key part of our team as a QA Engineer, ensuring our web and mobile applications meet the highest standards. Your role includes: - Taking ownership of quality for both web and mobile frontends. - Approaching testing with a real-user mindset, identifying edge cases, workflow issues, and UX friction. - Developing and maintaining automated test suites using tools like Cypress or Playwright. - Executing tests for DeFi-specific functionalities: wallet connections, approvals, order types, transaction statuses, and network switching. - Generating comprehensive bug reports with clear steps for replication to support engineering. - Investigating problems beyond immediate symptoms using browser tools and logs. - Collaborating with engineers to confirm fixes, address regressions, and validate releases. - Contributing to the development of CI-integrated test pipelines.

Qualifications

To succeed as a QA Engineer, you should have: 1. Significant experience in testing both web and mobile applications. 2. Familiarity with DeFi concepts such as wallets, approvals, order types, on-chain versus off-chain processes, network switching, and transaction statuses. 3. The ability to intuitively recognize potential edge cases in a trading interface. 4. Hands-on experience with automated web application testing, using Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks, including creating and maintaining test suites. 5. Comfort in analyzing logs, utilizing browser developer tools, and writing actionable bug reports.
