QA Engineer

Job Description

As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Conducting manual testing of web and mobile applications across various platforms and devices. 2. Designing, developing, and maintaining test cases based on requirements, user stories, and exploratory analysis. 3. Performing exploratory testing when detailed documentation is unavailable. 4. Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs with clear and concise reproduction steps. 5. Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and designers throughout the development process. 6. Validating bug fixes and performing regression testing to ensure the stability of our applications. 7. Ensuring usability, performance, and compatibility across different browsers and devices. 8. Participating in release testing and production validation to ensure a smooth launch. 9. Continuously improving testing processes and expanding test coverage to maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications

1. 3-5 years of proven experience in manual QA/testing. 2. Extensive experience in testing web and mobile applications. 3. Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing processes. 4. Proficiency with bug tracking tools such as Jira. 5. Ability to create clear, concise, and well-documented test cases and bug reports. 6. Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing. 7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience with API testing tools like Postman and Swagger. 2. Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation. 3. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments. 4. Exposure to automation testing concepts. 5. Experience with mobile testing tools and emulators.
