QA Analyst – Microsoft D-365, F&O

Job Description

We are looking for a QA Analyst to analyze business requirements/user stories and translate them into detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for D365 F&O processes. You will execute end-to-end testing across D365 F&O modules, validating configurations, customizations, security roles, and business workflows. You'll be performing smoke, sanity, functional, integration, regression, and UAT support testing for releases and hotfixes. Responsibilities include: - Building and maintaining test plans and test suites in a test management tool such as Azure DevOps Test Plans (or equivalent), ensuring traceability from requirements to test cases to defects to closure. - Maintaining high-quality test artifacts and execution evidence to support release readiness and auditability. - Identifying, documenting, prioritizing, and tracking defects; participating in defect triage with cross-functional teams; re-testing fixes and validating closure.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have: 1. 5-7 years of overall Quality Assurance experience, including manual and automated testing. 2. Proven experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) (or Dynamics AX with strong F&O exposure). 3. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and test design techniques. 4. Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, ALM, etc.). 5. Experience with test automation tools, including but not limited to RSAT. 6. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
