Proposal Manager
Job Description
As a Proposal Manager, your mission is to expertly handle all aspects of proposal responses. You'll develop timelines, assign tasks, track compliance, and ensure timely submissions. Your key responsibilities include evaluating RFPs/RFIs/RFQs, building proposal schedules, managing compliance, coordinating proposal production, and serving as the central point of contact for proposal activities. You'll also drive content assembly, manage visual assets, maintain and improve the proposal template library, build a centralized content library, conduct win-loss analysis, leverage AI tools, own RFP forecasting, develop operational reporting, and establish proposal management best practices.
Qualifications
1. Requires 3+ years of experience in proposal management, bid management, or RFP coordination in a B2B SaaS, govtech, or public-sector sales environment. 2. Proven ability to manage complex projects with firm deadlines. 3. Familiarity with government procurement processes and compliance requirements. 4. Excellent writing and editing skills. 5. Exceptional organizational skills. 6. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills. 7. Experience building and maintaining proposal content libraries and process documentation. 8. Comfort with AI-powered tools and a drive to find efficiencies through technology. 9. Transit, transportation, or govtech industry experience is a plus.
