Project Manager, Government Programs

Job Description

Assume responsibility for the financial aspects, schedules, and overall performance of multiple projects and programs. These initiatives encompass the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of private communication networks. Serve as the primary point of contact with customers, delegate tasks to a diverse team, and collaborate with subcontractors involved in the deployment of these networks. Key responsibilities include: - Creating project and program/portfolio schedules in MS Project. - Coordinating project schedules with customers for deployments. - Developing PowerPoint presentations for customer briefings. - Managing project budgets for material requisitions based on project requirements. - Assigning tasks to and supervising project personnel. - Approving employee timesheets. - Assisting the internal corporate team in implementing a new ERP system and integrating existing projects into it. - Managing new contracts and handling contract modifications. - Submitting travel budget requests. - Monitoring project finances to facilitate invoicing. - Providing monthly project health reports to company executives. - Supporting bid and proposal activities for new contracts and extensions of existing projects. - Acting as a liaison between corporate finance teams and project delivery teams.

Qualifications

1. Possess a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in a similar role at a systems integrator. 2. Hold a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a relevant field. 3. Maintain a minimum DoW SECRET clearance; Top Secret clearance is preferred. 4. Demonstrate excellent proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 5. Be capable of traveling up to 40% of the time for customer meetings, testing, training exercises, and deployment oversight. 6. Exhibit strong organizational, time management, administrative, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. 7. Demonstrate the ability to manage complexity, analyze data, and achieve customer program goals. 8. Be self-motivated with a proactive mindset. 9. Possess the ability to take on new tasks and address challenges or inefficiencies with minimal guidance.
