Project Manager

Asia – Remote Full-Time

Job Description

Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies and basic design to detailed engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, performance testing, and final project closeout. Serve as the primary point of contact for the project, ensuring clear and effective communication among internal teams and stakeholders to maintain aligned project objectives. Direct a project team that includes both internal specialists and external consultants, clearly defining roles, motivating team members, and promoting a collaborative, high-performing work environment. Identify, evaluate, and address technical, managerial, and financial risks associated with the project; develop and implement effective mitigation strategies. Implement and enforce a strict "Zero-tolerance" safety policy, ensuring that all project activities comply with company EHS standards and local regulations. Oversee the project's quality management system to ensure all aspects meet required technical specifications, standards, and requirements. Take responsibility for developing, monitoring, and controlling the project's scope and budget. Create and maintain the project's master schedule and execution plan. Monitor project progress, identify critical paths, mitigate schedule risks, and ensure timely project delivery.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. 2. Over 10 years of project management experience in chemical projects. 3. Proven experience with new plant setup, process scale-up, or significant technical renovation projects. 4. Basic proficiency in English text processing.
