Project Director

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Director to support the Managing Director in leading and managing several multi-year initiatives within CCC's strategic project portfolio. The Project Director will partner with the Managing Director to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of CCC multi-year initiatives. As the primary point of contact for project partners, funders, research teams, and consultants, the Project Director will lead project planning, execution, tracking, and reporting to ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and resource requirements. Coordinate research activities with partners and consultants, manage and review deliverables. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners, funders, and stakeholders. Support the planning, administration, and execution events and activities.

Qualifications

1. 3+ years of experience in project management, stakeholder relations, or related role 2. Previous business development, communications, design, systems thinking, and consulting experience is an asset, including report writing and/or proposal writing (e.g., preparing grant and funding applications) 3. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities 4. Experience working with stakeholders across construction and real estate industry, government, non-profit, and academia 5. Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail 6. Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills 7. Ability to synthesize research and manage research-related processes 8. Experience planning and hosting virtual and in-person workshops and meetings, including agenda setting and coordination 9. Demonstrated ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and execute with minimal supervision 10. Experience working with remote, geographically distributed teams 11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
