Project Coordinator – Medical Communications

Job Description

ICON plc is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our medical communications team. In this role, you'll facilitate clear communication, organize events, manage administrative tasks, provide content support, proofread documents, lead meeting logistics, and prepare client reports. Your work will ensure the smooth operation of projects and effective delivery of high-quality communication materials. Key responsibilities include: 1. Facilitating clear and timely communication between internal teams and external partners. 2. Organizing and hosting monthly events and meetings. 3. Managing administrative tasks, including preparing speaker notes and liaising with key contributors. 4. Providing content support across communication materials. 5. Proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and consistency. 6. Leading meeting logistics, including agenda planning and follow-up actions. 7. Preparing monthly client reports and tracking project progress.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Project Coordinator, you should have: 1. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or healthcare discipline. 2. Extensive experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. 3. A strong understanding of clinical trial processes and terminology. 4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. 5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
