Job Description
Assume leadership for the complete execution of global projects valued in the multi-million dollar range, encompassing AI factories, extensive hyperscale deployments, retrofitting initiatives, and edge computing sites. Take responsibility for defining project scope, establishing timelines, managing budgets, assessing risks, and ensuring quality throughout complex, cross-functional programs. Implement a structured approach to project execution, utilizing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), identifying critical paths, maintaining Risk, Assumptions, Issues, and Decisions (RAID) logs, and adhering to established governance frameworks. Maintain comprehensive project accountability, acting as the primary liaison for both internal stakeholders and clients. Orchestrate and preside over all essential project meetings, including kick-off sessions, design evaluations, steering committee meetings, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). Proactively detect potential risks, devise mitigation strategies, and escalate issues with proposed solutions. Guarantee a smooth transition to operational teams and customer success, providing thorough documentation and capturing lessons learned. Collaborate closely with research and development (R&D), engineering, manufacturing, and field teams to achieve exceptional project outcomes. Operate effectively within a global context, managing stakeholders across multiple time zones. Engage directly with clients, offering on-site support as necessary.
Qualifications
1. Possess 6+ years of experience in project/program management, preferably with hardware or electro-mechanical systems, such as data center infrastructure, cooling systems, power distribution, or rack integration. 2. Demonstrated experience in delivering intricate, customer-facing infrastructure projects. 3. Exhibit strong technical proficiency in at least one of the following areas: mechanical, electrical, thermal, or structural engineering as applied to data center equipment. 4. Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and field teams. 5. Familiarity with structured project management methodologies (Waterfall/hybrid) and relevant tools like MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet. 6. Possess a proven ability to lead effectively without direct authority and drive accountability. 7. Demonstrate excellent communication skills when interacting with both technical and executive stakeholders. 8. Hold a PMP certification or an equivalent credential (advantageous). 9. Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred). 10. Demonstrate fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages considered a plus. 11. Exhibit a willingness to travel internationally as required.
