Program Manager III

Job Description

Responsible for managing a highly complex program or a group of complex programs, which includes scheduling and budgeting. Collaborates with leaders to achieve program objectives and drive continuous improvement. Monitors program effectiveness and engages stakeholders to support ongoing enhancements. Leads interdepartmental activities to ensure efficient program operation and implementation. Identifies strategic opportunities to expand the program, develops plans, and presents proposals to management. Manages the execution of initiatives critical for program success, including stakeholder communication. Oversees teams to support program objectives. Exercises independent judgment in achieving program goals.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in business, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 2. Seven (7) years of experience in a lead role overseeing program/project management. 3. Five (5) years of experience working on quality and process improvement projects with cross-functional teams, including data collection, analysis, and reporting. 4. Proven record of leading large project teams through project completion, program planning, execution, and status reporting. 5. Demonstrated experience working with vendors and consultants. 6. Knowledge of Lean concepts and methods. 7. Experience representing programs in management meetings with executive-level stakeholders. 8. Preferred: Master’s degree in Health Administration, business, or a related field. 9. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. 10. Awareness of current trends in project management technologies and techniques. 11. Experience working in public health, healthcare, or social services. 12. Experience with Peer Review or the PACE program.
