Program Management Manager

Job Description

Manage program(s) according to the scope of work, program guidelines, and standard operating procedures, staying within the contracted budget. Oversee the daily activities of program operations, ensuring a smooth workflow throughout the program's lifecycle, including staff supervision. Possess a working knowledge of protocols, contract requirements, program workflows, and the scope of work for assigned programs. Monitor program metrics to ensure compliance with SLAs. Support management decisions regarding program development, design, and restructuring. Attend related meetings/conferences as required. Present program information to internal and external clients. Assist in interviewing, evaluating, and training employees as needed. Engage in team communication and collaboration during the development, start-up, management, and close-out phases of assigned programs. Participate in client kick-off and planning meetings. Join internal and external team meetings. Translate decisions and discussions into clear, documented workflow processes. Facilitate coordination among teams and team members to achieve successful program launches. Assist in developing program metrics. Participate in client and/or FDA audits. Identify areas for process improvement. Gather data on process effectiveness throughout program durations. Collect and interpret program metrics. Report and analyze process efficiencies. Ensure training materials are current and assess the need for group or additional training. Maintain team performance by ensuring compliance with company and project objectives. Manage the dual role of supervising staff and supporting program applications. Plan, monitor, and appraise job results to ensure a high level of team performance. Assist with analyzing and writing client reports and presenting information to stakeholders. Handle escalated issues that require deviations from standard procedures or extensive research. Other duties as assigned. Ability to travel as needed. Actively participate in in-person and virtual meetings/events.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an Associate Degree with equivalent work experience. 2. 5 – 8 years of relevant experience, or 3 – 5 years with a Master’s degree. 3. 2 years of related healthcare or pharmaceutical experience. 4. 1 year of managerial experience. 5. Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office. 6. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 8. Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and resolve issues with urgency. 9. Highly developed written communication skills for program materials and procedures. 10. Client interfacing skills to cultivate and manage relationships. 11. Strong analytical skills to analyze information and target trends. 12. Ability to organize people and systems to achieve goals. 13. Working knowledge of customer service processes preferred.
