Program Director – Linguistic Validation

Job Description

As a Program Director, you will engage with customers as a senior operational leader, analyze and evaluate their business issues, and lead teams to execute defined solutions across all service offerings. Your responsibilities include increasing organic program revenue, managing margin, and other key performance indicators (KPIs). You'll collaborate with operations leadership to ensure customer satisfaction, implementing continual process improvement, measurement/benchmarking, and automation across all lines of service delivery. You'll also record, analyze, and evaluate the performance of delivery teams and external suppliers to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction, quality, and profitability. Responsibilities extend to the analysis, evaluation, and generation of operational revenue forecasts, partnering with the sales team on sales forecasts. Additionally, you will provide support as a key interface with clients, offering thought leadership for solution generation and driving the transition and onboarding of new clients. Serving as the overall escalation point for assigned customer accounts, you will lead operational discussions, proactively monitor and share customer feedback, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and communicated. You'll formulate, interpret, implement, and measure processes for company service offerings, develop and certify programs for operational readiness, support hiring, and focus on lowering costs related to client solutions and services. Accountability for the overall financial health of the accounts and collaboration with site and senior business unit leadership to drive teams in improving process, people, and technology are also key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

1. College/university degree in Business, English, Foreign Language, Social or Applied Science, or a related field. 2. 10-12 years of experience coordinating complex projects within the translation/localization industry, preferably with a background in medical/ pharmaceutical/ life sciences translations. 3. Experience managing Linguistic Validation projects. 4. Successful customer service/account management experience, a minimum of eight years, including at least five years within the translation industry. 5. Demonstrated successful leadership or mentoring experience, minimum of six years. 6. A progressive record of increasing responsibility in management leading up to a senior management position, including successful performance in operations management. 7. Exceptional track record of successfully managing relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and the management team. 8. Experience operating in a fast-growing, publicly traded international company. 9. PMP or PgMP Certification is a plus. 10. Verbal and written fluency in at least one foreign language is a plus.
