Professional Lines Account Manager
Job Description
Join our team as a Professional Lines Account Manager, where you'll cultivate and expand relationships with existing clients. Our managers use a consultative approach to understand client businesses, manage their professional liability risks, and find opportunities to better serve client needs. Responsibilities include: 1. Developing and overseeing customized service plans for each client. 2. Involving the appropriate internal resources to support client needs. 3. Planning and leading both internal and client meetings. 4. Supervising the preparation of marketing submissions to secure competitive quotes for new and renewal business. 5. Coordinating account marketing and negotiating terms with carriers. 6. Overseeing the creation of proposals and loss prevention materials. 7. Implementing communication strategies to boost enrollment in voluntary direct enrollment accounts. 8. Monitoring online processing systems utilization. 9. Organizing regular claim review meetings. 10. Reviewing large loss notices and policies for accuracy. 11. Ensuring the accuracy of financial records and reporting. 12. Keeping management informed of client opportunities and risks.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need: 1. A valid California P&C Insurance License. 2. Fifteen years of experience in Professional Liability Insurance. 3. Seven years of experience as an Account Manager (or similar role) with a proven record of client relationship development. 4. Strong technical skills, including proficiency with agency management systems. 5. Experience working with large, complex accounts. 6. A Bachelor’s degree and experience in financial institutions E&O and D&O is required. 7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). 8. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
