Production Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee our supplements manufacturing operations. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the manager actively involved in daily production tasks such as BOM calculations, PO creation, and documentation management. The Production Manager will share workload ownership with the team, ensuring process discipline, accuracy, and accountability. Identifying and correcting errors in real-time across planning, purchasing, and documentation workflows is crucial. A key responsibility is calculating raw material requirements per BOM and reconciling inventory. The manager will coordinate with contract manufacturers, manage production orders, track schedules, and ensure adherence to quality standards. The Production Manager will standardize workflows, drive continuous improvement, and manage team members, fostering a culture of precision and operational excellence.

Qualifications

1. Hands-on experience with BOM management, including raw material calculations and inventory reconciliation. 2. Advanced spreadsheet proficiency in manual environments. 3. Experience managing large datasets across 100+ suppliers. 4. Proven ability to maintain accuracy without system safeguards. 5. Direct ownership of PO issuance and inbound documentation management. 6. Proven player-coach experience, comfortable with daily operational work. 7. Experience managing contract manufacturers, including order issuance and schedule tracking. 8. Strong attention to detail with a zero-error mindset. 9. Ability to manage multiple production workflows and suppliers. 10. Must be willing to work following Eastern Standard Time and use a time tracker.
