Job Description

Influence product strategy, identifying impactful opportunities to help customers achieve financial goals. Own the product roadmap, addressing short and long-term product opportunities within organizational strategy. Bring clarity to ambiguous situations. Obsess about product design, partnering with designers to simplify and improve the user experience. Use customer research, usability testing, and market research to improve user satisfaction. Work with engineering and design teams to increase team velocity and productivity. Inspire leadership and cross-functional partners. Drive product requirements, manage resources, and lead the team through milestones. Understand Empower's business goals, competitive landscape, and align products with our mission. Define, analyze, and track key performance metrics. Drive decisions through customer insights, agile methods, analysis, and A/B testing. Execute quickly, focusing on customer outcomes and learning, and challenge the status quo to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2. 3+ years leading digital direct-to-consumer products, collaborating with engineering, design, and research teams. 3. Exceptional prioritization and stakeholder management skills, especially with compliance/legal partners. 4. Excellent communication, storytelling, and organizational skills. 5. Relentless follow-through and commitment. 6. Detail and design-oriented. 7. Passionate about impactful customer and business problems. 8. Critical, analytical thinker comfortable with data analysis. 9. Proven track record in the product life cycle, integrating feedback and driving execution. 10. Experience in the fintech industry with knowledge of best practices.
