Product Manager III – Business Banking

Job Description

Own the comprehensive product strategy for Bankjoy's advanced business banking platform, from initial concept to successful implementation. Define and prioritize the product roadmap in close collaboration with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Client Success teams. Translate complex business and technical needs into clear product specifications and well-defined user stories. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and client needs. Continuously assess product performance and adapt priorities to ensure robust delivery and sustained product success. Guide product discussions related to payment systems including ACH, wire transfers, card networks, and real-time payments. Ensure adherence to payment regulations and security standards across all product functionalities. Develop and manage permission and access control frameworks for enterprise platforms. Work closely with engineering teams to define APIs, data models, and integration patterns. Ensure compliance and security are integral to product design from the outset. Partner with implementation and engineering teams to resolve complex technical scoping issues and reduce downstream ambiguity. Mentor junior product managers, enhancing their skills and team performance. Serve as the main product contact for clients during discussions and planning. Join client meetings, lead product talks, and foster trusted relationships with stakeholders. Actively gather client feedback and confirm product direction. Convert client feedback into product priorities. Synthesize RFP needs and feedback into actionable roadmap decisions. Act as the expert on business banking product capabilities.

Qualifications

1. 8+ years of product management experience in financial services or B2B fintech, with exposure to business banking, payments, or core banking platforms. 2. Strong technical fluency with APIs, system integrations, and product architecture discussions. 3. Deep knowledge of payment rails including ACH, wire transfers, card networks, and real-time payments. 4. Experience working with payment compliance requirements, security frameworks, and access control design. 5. Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-moving and ambiguous environments. 6. Strong communication and presentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences. 7. Strong cross-functional collaboration experience working with Engineering, Sales, Implementation, and Client Success teams. 8. Ability to translate complex technical concepts clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
