Job Description

Lead the application of data, analytics, and experimentation to validate assumptions and guide product decisions across our digital product suite. Translate overarching company and product goals into tangible, measurable outcomes with leading indicators. Define standards for framing, instrumenting, measuring, and evaluating product tests. Proactively identify and address measurement gaps. Own the validation strategy design and execution across major product initiatives, choosing methods based on risk, confidence, and impact. Drive rigorous testing using prototypes, behavior analysis, feature experiments, and A/B tests. Establish clear success criteria, decision frameworks, and guardrails before experiment launches. Spearhead result analysis and interpretation, converting insights into actionable product recommendations. Ensure focus on customer and business outcomes in all experimentation efforts. Independently write SQL queries to address pressing product and business questions. Conduct in-depth exploratory analyses to highlight opportunities for growth, engagement drivers, and areas of concern. Design, construct, and maintain dashboards providing dependable visibility into user behavior and product performance. Standardize metric definitions across teams. Elevate the rigor of measurement in initiatives, ensuring every meaningful product bet includes an evaluation plan. Work with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to integrate measurement and validation into workflows. Partner with Engineering and Data teams to define instrumentation needs and improve data quality. Act as the resident expert on experimentation and product analytics.

Qualifications

1. Possess 6–10 years of experience in product management, product analytics, or other data-focused roles. 2. Demonstrate strong hands-on data querying skills (SQL required). 3. Show experience building dashboards and data visualizations. 4. Exhibit deep experience leading validation and experimentation efforts, including experiment design, execution, and interpretation. 5. Have the proven ability to convert data insights into measurable product decisions. 6. Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations. 7. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 8. Demonstrate the ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. 9. Demonstrate the ability to remain organized and detail-oriented while simultaneously handling multiple initiatives. 10. Showcase experience supporting consumer-facing digital products. 11. Exhibit familiarity with experimentation and event-based analytics platforms. 12. Have experience working in media, streaming, or content-driven applications. 13. Have exposure to outcome-based product practices or hypothesis-driven development.
