Job Description
Seeking a highly skilled Product Director to tackle complex projects, utilizing in-depth data analysis to enhance product performance. The ideal candidate will lead teams in researching business data, employing statistical analysis and data mining to uncover valuable insights. You'll spearhead the development of scalable data reporting solutions, working closely with IT to meet team requirements. The role involves overseeing product performance, collaborating with actuarial and loss analytic teams. You'll be instrumental in crafting and executing product strategies, monitoring market trends, and offering strategic leadership to improve profitability and market share. Provide analytical insights, identify areas for growth and oversee product managers in actuarial filing and automated technical solutions creation. This involves providing guidance for advanced data analysis and ensuring product compliance within the regulatory landscape.
Qualifications
1. Requires 5+ years of Product Management experience, including managing product managers/analysts and performing listed responsibilities. 2. Comprehensive understanding of the personal insurance business, including products, coverages, claims, underwriting, distribution channels, and sales centers is important. 3. Experience launching new states/programs is beneficial. 4. Requires strong leadership, innovation, and initiative. 5. Must possess critical thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, and data analysis skills. 6. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are necessary. 7. Must be team-oriented with excellent collaboration, team management, and development skills. 8. Advanced proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, and SQL is essential. 9. Experience in Property Casualty insurance, including direct interaction with departments of insurance is needed. 10. Experience in business process, data analysis, and data profiling is preferred. 11. Must have the ability to set priorities and perform multiple tasks. 12. Must have the ability to solve practical problems, deal with concrete variables, and interpret instructions in various formats. 13. Need the ability to adapt to a paperless environment.
