Procurement Manager

Job Description

Join RTX as a Procurement Manager and play a crucial role in subcontract management using integrated supply chain models. This position involves preparing solicitations like RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs, and conducting thorough price/cost analysis. You will develop and lead formal negotiations on price, delivery, and terms, and manage high-dollar purchase orders with significant complexity. Key responsibilities include performing risk analysis, developing mitigation plans, and resolving internal and supplier issues. You will also manage financial goals related to subcontract deliveries, drive the success of meeting business factory MRP, and improve metrics such as Late to Place and Delinquent Material. Developing plans for cost reduction and performance improvements is a core aspect of this role.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years in supply chain management or similar. 2. Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or similar heavily regulated industries. 3. Proven experience in written contractual authorization (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, etc.). 4. Expertise in supplier management. 5. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. 6. U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
