Principal Specialist, Cloud Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to deliver exceptional IT support and services. Responsibilities include infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and contributing to best practices. Collaborate within a small team on cloud projects, providing practical solutions to complex problems. Design and maintain cloud applications infrastructure, enhance cloud services, and administer IT systems in RedHat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows environments. Create system documentation and engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously within a distributed team.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 5+ years of experience in Azure and AWS environments. 2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics or equivalent. 3. 5+ years of experience in deploying and managing cloud-based solutions on Azure and/or AWS. 4. Expertise in administering Windows and Linux server operating systems. 5. Understanding of computers, networks, servers, storage, and databases. 6. Experience in server architecture and troubleshooting. 7. Capable of developing solutions and documenting technical issues. 8. Proficient with Active Directory, WSUS, VMware. 9. Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Terraform/HCL). 10. Knowledge of Agile methodologies. 11. Microsoft Azure certification(s).
