Job Description

As a Principal Solution Engineer, your responsibilities include aligning business needs with technology by analyzing complex technical requirements and designing scalable, integrated solutions. Lead the design and execution of high-quality data migration strategies. Recommend greater use of standard application functionality to strengthen business processes. Architect and deliver detailed technical designs for complex systems. Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, ensuring reliable delivery of key solutions. Evaluate solution options based on scalability, integration complexity, technical fit, and total cost of ownership. Enhance cross-functional alignment by collaborating with various teams. Elevate team capability by coaching team members and ensuring adherence to standards and guidelines.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2. 3+ years of experience with Atlassian Cloud products in medium to large environments (1000+ users). 3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 4. Strong troubleshooting skills. 5. Strong proficiency in Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management. 6. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. 7. Experience with Atlassian Marketplace apps and integrations. 8. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (Python, PowerShell, etc. proficiency).
