Principal Program Cost Control Analyst

Job Description

Seeking a Principal Program Cost Control Analyst to provide financial analysis and reporting for a portfolio of programs, covering all cost elements. Conduct financial reviews, including monthly program status reviews, Estimates-at-Completion (EACs), and Program Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development. Ensure cost and schedule control analysis across production programs in compliance with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS). Develop and submit monthly financial forecasts. Manage special projects, such as Gate Reviews, proposals, Requests for Information (RFIs), Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, invoicing, balance sheet cleanup, and funding analysis. Oversee the cash management process, including invoicing and monitoring customer receipts. Participate in cost strategy development for competitive and strategic proposals.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Math, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is typically required. 2. A minimum of 5 years of related work experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience. 3. Experience using SAP (APEX, PRISM, and/or BW/AO). 4. Familiarity with RTN PMX and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS). 5. Knowledge of Program Controls (cost and schedule) and the Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) process. 6. EVMS Certification or willingness to achieve EVMS Certification within 6 months of hiring.
