Take the lead in shaping the future of Upstart's pricing platform. Your mission: to craft a long-term vision that fuels scalable, reusable capabilities across diverse loan products. Elevate the reliability and availability of our pricing systems to minimize risks in this business-critical realm. Steer our platform's evolution away from a monolithic structure towards agile, service-oriented systems, boosting engineering velocity. Collaborate closely with engineering, machine learning, and product teams across lending sectors to pioneer new pricing functionalities. Skillfully balance stakeholder needs with strategic platform investments, seizing opportunities to expedite product development by enhancing fundamental components and resolving dependency bottlenecks.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field. 2. 5-7 years of product management experience. 3. Experience in building or managing backend platforms or infrastructure systems. 4. Proven experience collaborating with engineering teams on large-scale, complex systems. 5. Skill in defining product requirements and driving execution for technical products. 6. Background in pricing systems, advertising platforms, or similar optimization systems. 7. Demonstrated ability to evolve monolithic systems into modular, service-oriented architectures. 8. Experience working in machine learning, data science, or analytics-driven environments. 9. Ability to thrive in highly cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders.
