Principal DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug mission-critical infrastructure. Manage private and public cloud infrastructures using code, creating reusable components for scalable, highly available, secure architectures for cloud applications. Enable continuous integration and continuous delivery by applying infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and automated software deployment best practices. Drive continuous improvement across teams by evaluating and applying best practices. Able to translate high-level requirements into smaller tasks and coach lower-level technical staff. Make impactful process and program recommendations within a technical area.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 12+ years of relevant experience. 2. Experience with Agile and DevSecOps concepts and best practices. 3. Strong foundation in software design patterns and programming languages. 4. Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills. 5. Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong communication skills for collaboration with software development teams and customers. 6. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. 7. Ability to obtain U.S. DoD Secret security clearance. 8. Ability to support program execution in classified environments.
