Principal Account Executive
Job Description
As a Principal Account Executive, you will be the main contact for important accounts, no matter where they are located. Your role involves keeping in touch with high-level executives, selling the company's products or services, managing relationships with major national accounts, and making sure customers are happy. You'll need to quickly grow and maintain these accounts. You'll also find and assess business opportunities that could be both short-term and long-term. This includes creating detailed proposals and giving presentations to everyone in the company, even top executives. A key part of your job is leading the account strategy and working with the sales support team.
Qualifications
1. Must have 8+ years of experience in account management. 2. Requires a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience. 3. Need to be skilled in negotiation and closing deals. 4. Must be able to sell solutions and present ideas effectively. 5. Must have experience working with clients and understanding their needs. 6. Requires strong influencing skills. 7. Need to be able to sell in a complex environment. 8. Requires the ability to use internal relationships and resources. 9. Must be able to manage time and prioritize tasks. 10. Requires knowledge of networking products, especially those of F5.
