Planning Specialist – Customer Experience

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Planning Specialist to enhance our customer experience through strategic route planning. This role involves utilizing route analysis software to create effective daily and weekly tactical route plans for assigned branch locations. You will perform data analysis of plans, resource availability, and territory, ensuring optimal efficiency. Responsibilities include maintaining geographic codes, addresses, and customer information, and reporting metrics daily to the Service Planning Supervisor and Branch Managers/Technicians. The role also requires communicating routes within the assigned territory to service personnel, summarizing and reviewing plans daily with the Service Planning Supervisor, and creating summary reports daily for the supervisor. Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Advanced knowledge of Routing and Scheduling software systems. 2. Advanced knowledge of the company’s branch service department as it relates to resources, territory structure, advanced planning of recurring services and schedule availability for unplanned demand. 3. Verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking. 4. Analytical skills and attention to detail. 5. Advanced skills with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). 6. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, maintenance instructions, procedural manuals and/or government regulations. 7. Ability to manage multiple, repetitive tasks. 8. Basic understanding of texting software or other forms of software needed to accomplish this objective. 9. Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and the public. 10. Basic knowledge of the company’s operating systems. 11. High school diploma or (GED) or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in the service industry. 12. 1-2 years of related experience as dispatcher and/or customer service agent.
