Qualifications

Position Summary The Planning Analyst is essential for ensuring material availability to both internal and external stakeholders, supporting Production and Servicing. This role contributes significantly to establishing high-quality materials planning processes aligned with organizational goals and operational excellence. The Planning Analyst will aid in implementing improved methodologies and fostering a culture of continuous enhancement. Major Responsibilities: 1. Align demand and supply plans for components and spare parts to ensure high material availability and optimize inventory. 2. Manage the SAP material master and item creation process. 3. Identify and implement AI and machine learning capabilities in Organox operations. 4. Develop PowerBi KPIs and enhance the reporting process. 5. Provide SAP Super User support across the organization. 6. Engage in cross-functional projects to improve material planning processes and operational efficiency. 7. Ensure effective planning for new product introductions and seamless handoff to Procurement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate workflows with other business functions. 8. Coach and mentor within the Planning and wider Operations functions. 9. Support initiatives to improve delivery performance and optimize costs. 10. Ensure material planning activities comply with ISO 13485, FDA, and BSI standards. 11. Continuously assess and optimize planning processes to drive efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness, implementing best practices to meet business needs. Skills & Experience: * Demonstrable experience in a similar role within the medical, manufacturing, or related sector. * Expert user of MRP and ERP systems, such as SAP Business One or SAP R/4 HANA. * Proven experience in the development of KPIs using software such as PowerBi or SAP analytics. * Strong analytical abilities with experience in handling complex datasets. * Ability to work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams, including Production, Purchasing, Servicing, Quality, Engineering, and Finance. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. * High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Excel * Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Qualifications: * Undergraduate degree in a related subject or similar demonstrable experience * A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a materials planning / analysis role (essential). * Formal Lean 6 Sigma training an advantage.
