PI System Engineer

Job Description

As a PI System Engineer, your main responsibilities will include: - Translating customer needs into practical functional and technical designs. - Taking part in the design and implementation of projects that utilize the OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System to boost situational awareness and operational intelligence. - Connecting with building automation systems (BAS), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and various third-party systems. - Utilizing analytics tools like Python and R to create and implement algorithms that pinpoint areas for improvement and deviations from standard asset and system operations. - Providing support for both the creation and roll-out of new integration projects, as well as the maintenance of existing systems.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have: 1. US residency. 2. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 3. A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a technical capacity. 4. Over 2 years of hands-on experience with the AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System. 5. Self-starting capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively and simultaneously. 6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. 7. Strong analytical skills and the ability to pass a background check.
